The 50/7 Project

The 50/7 Project

As far back as I am able to recall, I’ve always loved traveling. That passion began early in my youth, traveling the nation by car with my family. I’m fascinated by new sights and new experiences, and I fear I could scarcely survive if confined to one city, even one I love as much as my current home, San Diego.

Further to my love of traveling, some time ago, I set the goal of visiting all fifty U.S. states and all seven continents; hence, The 50/7 Project. My original plan was to complete this feat before my 30th birthday, but having been delayed somewhat, I am not disheartened. The project continues. You can track my progress here, as I will tick off the states and continents visited.

Is Florida really California-East? Read about my tour of the state from Orlando to Key West, and find out exactly how I feel about that comparison: Florida Was a Slave State

Read my account of my trip to Burkina Faso, West Africa in March-April, 2000.
